Dr. Albert Chester II is a fifth generation native of Jacksonville, Florida.

His early childhood experiences, from the Kooker Park Boys and Girls Club and the 33rd Street Police Athletic League, to Sundays spent at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church were based in the community and helped shape his foundation and build him into the person he is today.

A proud graduate of The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Albert, as an All- American quarterback, led the football team to its first undefeated regular season in school history.

After high school, he followed his family tradition and accepted a full athletic scholarship to attend Florida A&M University. Albert excelled on the football field, winning numerous conference awards, and was an exceptional student. In 2009, he completed his doctoral degree, fulfilling his dream to become a pharmacist.

Post university, he began his career at Walgreens, where within three years, he was promoted to Pharmacy Manager. Noticing the lack of affordable programs for pharmacy techs, Albert began the process of starting a post-secondary career program to train individuals interested in the field. The Capstone Institute opened in 2017 and has serviced over forty students to date. The Capstone Institute has allowed many students to attend for free and complete the program debt free.

In 2018, Albert reinvested the money earned from the The Capstone Institute back into another business in the community - New Town Pharmacy. New Town Pharmacy is an independently owned full-service community/retail pharmacy and is patient-centered, offering everything the large corporations offer and more, including free home delivery. This business model has proven to be crucial for many seniors that have no means of transportation.

Albert is married to Dr. Melissa Chester, who is an accomplished professional and entrepreneur. They have two sons, Aiden and Alex.
